Pitts also uses similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for specific functional purposes described below.
2. How We Use Cookies
When you first visit Pitts, you are presented with a cookie consent banner. You may accept all categories, or customize your preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing the pitts_cookie_consent value from your browser's local storage and refreshing the page.

3.1 Necessary (Always Active)
These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. They include:

3.2 Analytics (Optional)

PostHog is self-hosted on Pitts infrastructure. Data does not leave our environment for standard analytics events.
3.3 Marketing (Optional)
Currently, Pitts does not use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and you will be asked to re-consent.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party integrations may set their own cookies:
- Stripe: payment forms may set fraud-detection cookies. These are necessary for payment security and cannot be disabled while making a payment.
- Daily.co: the live video call interface may set session cookies for the duration of a call. These expire at call end.
5. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, Pitts uses browser local storage for the following:

- PostHog opt-out: you may opt out of PostHog analytics by declining analytics cookies in the consent banner.
