1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your preferences and actions over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter information each visit.

Pitts also uses similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for specific functional purposes described below.

2. How We Use Cookies

When you first visit Pitts, you are presented with a cookie consent banner. You may accept all categories, or customize your preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing the pitts_cookie_consent value from your browser's local storage and refreshing the page.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party integrations may set their own cookies:

  • Stripe: payment forms may set fraud-detection cookies. These are necessary for payment security and cannot be disabled while making a payment.
  • Daily.co: the live video call interface may set session cookies for the duration of a call. These expire at call end.

5. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, Pitts uses browser local storage for the following:

6. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through:

  • Browser settings: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking necessary cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly.
  • Consent banner: revisit your preferences by clearing local storage and refreshing the page.
  • PostHog opt-out: you may opt out of PostHog analytics by declining analytics cookies in the consent banner.

For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, visit your browser's help center (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or change technologies. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will display a new consent request.
